A series of sets I am currently in the process of making for my First Lines project.
Based around the principles of the Film Noir genre, the storyboard follows a small-town American astronomer/ space detective.
I don't want to give too much away, because I'm pretty excited about what the end results will be myself, but all the sets will be photographed on B/W film in a studio.
Bringing influences from Orson Welles' seedy low-light films to Leeds based art collectives Nous Vous and Kraffhics, I really wanted to go all DIY on this brief's ass.
